The United States Ambassador to Ghana,Mrs. Virginia Evelyn Palmer, has promoted Interfaith with Ghana's Hijab Ambassador, Ms. Hawa Mohammed, during the Qatar's National Independence day celebration.




The celebration, under the slogan; "Our Unity Is The Source Of Our Strength", received dignitaries from all walks of life and representatives from diplomatic missions, was held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra, on 14th December, 2022.

One of the highlights of the program was when the humanity Magazine under the auspices of Ghana's Miss Hijab 2019,Ms. Hawa presented Hijab to Mrs. Palmar and together demonstrated to the public how to wear the Hijabì to the applaud and enthusiasm of the participants.


The U.S Ambassador, said, "Hijab signifies girl power", before taking pictures with the audience.

The Founder of the Humanity Magazine, Mr. Yahaya Alhassan said, promoting religious tolerance has been the existing function of The humanity Magazine, in line with The US Office of International Religious Freedom which promotes universal respect for freedom of religion or belief for all as a core objective of U.S. foreign policy and monitors religiously motivated abuses, harassment, and discrimination worldwide, and recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs to address these concerns. Mr. Alhassan therefore revealed that on September, 17, 2020,


The Humanity Magazine published and spread its award on Ghana's No. 1.platform, The Daily Graphic , for The National Chief Imam, titled; "Sheikh Nuhu Sharabutu the International Exemplary Of Ghana's Religious Tolerance”, for his outstanding leadership in promoting religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence. 

Presenting the advocacy and toleration citation on the National Dailies by Mr. Yahaya Alhassan, he said; "This is in recognition for your champion of interfaith unity. Your historic

visit to the Christ the King Catholic Church was the celebration of Ghana's diversity and reflection of Sheikh's love for humanity which was reverberated on BBC to reaffirm but position Ghana across the world as the home of religious tolerance”. According to Mr. Alhassan, there is no human endeavour, than promotion of love, toleration, unity and peaceful coexistence

for a better world.
